    About Trinity

    One school, one journey

From Reception to Year 11, Trinity is one school community where pupils are known, encouraged to aim high and supported as they grow.

Trinity Church of England School is an all through school in Lewisham, welcoming pupils from Reception through to Year 11.

Our Primary and Secondary phases provide age appropriate experiences at each stage of a child’s education, while sharing one Christian vision, one set of values and a strong sense of belonging to the wider Trinity family.

For children who begin with us in Reception, Trinity can provide continuity throughout their school years. Pupils who join us later, including in Year 7, are welcomed into that same community as they begin the next stage of their journey.

Reception to Year 11: one school, with each phase shaped around what pupils need at that stage of their development.

    Life in all its fullness

Our vision is rooted in Jesus’ words:

“I have come that you may have life in all its fullness.”
    John 10:10

This vision shapes what we want for every pupil: to learn well, develop strong relationships, discover their gifts and grow in confidence, character and ambition.

As a Church of England school, Trinity is confidently Christian and warmly inclusive. We welcome pupils and families of all faiths and none.

    Learning, loving, living

Three strands help express how our vision is lived across Trinity.

    Learning

We are a learning community with high expectations. Pupils are encouraged to develop knowledge, curiosity and confidence, to work hard and to discover what they are capable of achieving.

    Loving

We are a community built on relationships. We want pupils to feel known, valued and included, with pupils, families, staff and governors contributing to the life of Trinity.

    Living

We encourage pupils to use their learning, character and gifts positively. Service, responsibility and contribution help pupils understand the part they can play within Trinity and the wider community.

    Two phases, one Trinity

Children’s needs change considerably between Reception and Year 11. Our all through structure allows Primary and Secondary to have their own character and age appropriate approach while remaining part of one school.

    Growing through Trinity

A child’s education is shaped by more than individual lessons. Across Trinity, pupils have opportunities to learn, participate, build friendships, take responsibility, serve others, discover interests and prepare for what comes next.

As pupils grow, so do the opportunities and expectations around them. The nurturing foundations of Primary develop into increasing independence in Secondary, while the relationships, values and sense of community that define Trinity continue throughout the journey.

Our aim is that pupils leave Trinity confident, capable and ready to take their next step.

    Part of Lewisham

Trinity is a school community in Lewisham, with our Primary Phase at Leahurst Road in Hither Green and our Secondary Phase at Taunton Road in Lee.

Our relationships extend beyond the school gates through families, churches, community organisations and local partners. We want pupils to understand their place within their community and the contribution they can make to it.

    Discover Trinity for yourself

A website can introduce you to Trinity, but visiting the school gives you the opportunity to experience the community for yourself.

Families considering Reception or Secondary are warmly invited to visit, meet staff, see pupils learning and explore whether Trinity is the right fit for their child.
