These dates apply to both our Primary and Secondary phases unless stated otherwise.

Start of September 2026: Wednesday 2 September is an INSET day. Reception and Year 7 attend their induction day on Thursday 3 September. Year 11 return on Friday 4 September. All other year groups return on Monday 7 September.

Important information for families
Term time holidays
Families should not book holidays during term time. Information about attendance and requests for absence can be found on our Attendance and Punctuality page.
Medical and dental appointments
Where possible, medical and dental appointments should be arranged outside the school day.
If an appointment needs to take place during school time, please inform the school in advance and provide any information requested by the school.
Early closures
Some terms end with an early closure. Families should check the times carefully and make appropriate collection arrangements.
Reception and Year 7 induction
Reception and Year 7 begin the academic year with an induction day on Thursday 3 September 2026. Families will receive further information about arrangements before the start of term.
